With heavy hearts we have left our home on Boayan Islan but in exchange we made a pact with the developers to establish the Daplac Bay Marine Reserve with a project to rehabilitate the coral reefs and the marine habitats in general. Together with Palawan Cove we are starting a Coral farm which in a few years time will help to repopulate the coral reefs within the bay and eventually in other parts of Boayan Island, San Vicente and Palawan. So although we have officially left the house, we are still very much a part of the team that will reconstruct the reefs and establish the Marine Reserve, working hand in hand with the developers to keep the magic alive.
At the same time we are developing a new vacation idea for our friends and clients, for those who want to get away from the regular tourist hub of resorts and bars, for those who want to see nature at its most natural. Palawan is the playground with areas still not completely ruined by human stress, from North to South we will explore the possibilities by road on 4x4 vehicles, by sea on our sailboat the m/y Dersou, through rivers by kayak, or hiking on foot. It will be off the beaten track in luxury and as much comfort as we can offer. If you are curious and want to know more,

Yes
we rent our beach house for more or less a week from time to time during the
dry season to help us
with the maintenance of the place
The house is a 250 square meter wooden bungalow built on stilts, with two bedrooms: the masters bedroom with a queen sized bed and the second with one or two twin beds; and a spacious toilet and shower room adjoining the two rooms. The airy kitchen is a separate structure connected by a covered walkway which forms part of the immense terrace and sun deck built around the entire house.
Surrounded by greenery and situated on a cove of fine white sand, the house looks out onto a well protected bay, a seeming lagoon where one can still find aquarium fish and other interesting marine life. From this vantage point you can witness the tropical sunsets, while the back terrace overlooks a rocky shoreline facing the sunrise.
Being far from any power plant or industry, electricity in the house is provided by the sun through solar panels and/or wind turbine which charge batteries. With this, the house lights, computer, radio, telephone, stereo and electric fans are all run. In case of a series of at least three cloudy days (it happens sometimes) there are two generators on standby, located far from the house.

To go to nearby snorkeling spots or to a picnic on another sandy shore, you may use the traditional "banca" always at your service or the Dersou yatch if available
Activities
